Confluence

About

  • Confluence by Atlassian is a popular knowledge wiki for mid-size and large companies.

  • This integration lets your AI experts use knowledge from your Confluence account.

  • Scroll supports Confluence pages, blog posts, folders and spaces.

First-time Setup

If you already set up the Confluence integration, skip to Adding Documents.

1. Locate the Confluence integration

If you haven't created an AI expert yet, create one from the home screen using the Create an AI Expert button.

In your AI expert's knowledge base, click on Add sources. Then, in the popup, switch to the Knowledge mgmt. section.

2. Add a root document

Where it says Add pages, start typing the name of the root document you'd like to add. Choose from the available options. Scroll will automatically add all of the nested documents as well.

You can also paste links to Confluence pages and folders into the same input.

Your can add an entire space, but we suggest being a bit more deliberate by choosing specific folders or page hierarchies.

3. Add more documents

Optionally add additional root documents before submitting the batch:

For better organization, Scroll automatically creates a folder per root document. If you select Place in folder, it will use your chosen folder instead.

4. Submit the batch

Once you click Submit, Scroll starts ingesting the items and their nested documents. It analyzes the content to ensure accurate AI results. This may take a couple of minutes.

You will see this notification in the bottom-left while it runs:

Your Confluence sources are added! You can preview what the AI sees by clicking on the individual sources.
